Kari's daughter tried to call 911 from the motel room phone four times, but the call wouldn't go through. In 2013 Kari went to a Texas motel with her kids to meet her estranged husband. And we saw the tragic result of that impediment in the case of Kari Hunt. In many office buildings, campuses around the country, you have to press 9 before going out, or some other number. But, unfortunately, that's not always the case. When you dial 911 the call should go through, and help should be on the way.
